How Much Did Celebrities Give? Please Ignore Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin is internationally famous for his rage and entitlement problems, in part due to an emotionally abusive phone message to his 11-year-old daughter. She was a pawn in a custody battle, and sadly for Alec, the recording went viral. Now he's fighting with American Airlines because he raised enough of a fuss --when instructed to stop playing a video game-- that he was escorted off the plane.  Check and you'll find headlines about this kerfuffle, lots of them. He has a long list of the ways he's been mistreated on planes (presumably in First Class).

To clear my palate, I went looking for celebs who give a lot of money away.  You can say they did it for the publicity or the glory, I don't care.  They gave it.  I'm interested in good behavior, whatever the motivation. Besides, all motivations are mixed.  Also besides, I haven't seen many headlines about these gifts, except maybe for Oprah, and Brad and Angelina. Take a look. It made me feel good.  I don't know if any of these folks have read the Second Precept, but they are certainly observing it.
