Romney Announces Plan to Deport Seniors Instead of Illegals

Mitt Romney has announced that if he is elected president he will immediately sign an executive order for ICE to start deporting seniors instead of illegals, noting that this will drastically cut Social Security and Medicare costs. Other Republican hopefuls are studying the plan.
Romney pointed out that older people are easier to catch and will not remember how to get back home.
Romney staffers later clarified the announcement by adding that seniors who are heavily invested in the financial sector, especially abroad, will be exempt from deportation, provided they no longer participate in any entitlement programs, and that they oppose gay marriage, abortion, and racial mingling.

The Practical Buddhist Responds

That Afghan sniper thing yesterday was upsetting and is nibbling everywhere in my Monkey Mind, so I needed a break.  I'm pretty sure Mr. Romney wouldn't actually deport seniors, at least not right away, but the thought provides a welcome break from the ugliness of political campaigns.
