I needed a break from headlines, just when Bas sent this. He lives in far eastern Thailand, along the Mekong. There, you climb onto an old inner tube, paddle around, and try to net a fish. It's loud, it's fun, and with any luck there will be a big Thai dinner in an hour or so.
